The Micklepage Trustees and Council carry on the work of the original members of the community who lived, farmed, and taught here.

The community was founded to link town and country, with special emphasis on families from city parishes. This work now continues in a wider context. Groups from different backgrounds come for study, prayer, retreat, arts, drama and awaydays. They come to find a place to relax, unwind and come closer to each other and God in many different ways.

Look around Micklepage and you can see that it has been built, rebuilt and kept standing over the centuries not only by professional builders, but by the people who have lived here.

In recent years, working parties of those who love the place have carried out all the jobs that need to be done to maintain the property.
